How do we design our beers?

The design process of our beer labels begins with a deep dive into the essence of the brand, where we aim to reflect not only the unique characteristics of each beer but also capture a moment in our history. Each brew is inspired by a significant event, milestone, or memory that has shaped our nation, and the label design serves as a visual storyteller.

We brainstorm concepts that encapsulate these pivotal moments, using elements like colours, typography, and illustrations that evoke the spirit of the time or event being commemorated. The goal is to ensure that each label is not just a design, but a connection to the past that resonates with both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Once we have a solid concept in place, we refine the label to balance storytelling with clear, functional information. The beer’s name, ABV, ingredients, and any other pertinent details are carefully laid out, ensuring the history we’re telling doesn’t overwhelm the essential product information.

We also work closely with printers to ensure the design translates seamlessly to the physical label, considering durability, texture, and material. Throughout the entire process, we aim for a cohesive look that reflects both the heritage behind each beer and the quality craftsmanship we put into brewing.

The final step is a review and approval process, ensuring the label aligns with our overall branding strategy before heading into production. Each label is a testament to the craft, creativity, and history that makes our beers truly unique.
